How you can become a better gardener

First and foremost, I believe gardening can be very therapeutic. There is something Biblical about watching something that did not look like much grow into a beautiful plant. However, any gardening project or landscape project can become frustrating very quickly. Over the years, I have found that the best way to overcome the frustration is to just have fun and enjoy it. Planting through the seasons

Spring is such a beautiful and anxious time. Many gardeners are ready to beat the cold and get into the heat, often suffering from cabin fever in colder climates. This year I planted my broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cabbages under small tents to get them in early. They are doing fabulous as of right now, despite all the rains we have had.
